Delete your Pulse account

Last updated: August 12, 2026 · App: Pulse — Track Your Growth · Developer: Pulse · Contact: support@pulseclimb.app

You can delete your Pulse account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways: from inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.

Consider exporting first. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Settings → Your data → Export my data downloads everything you have logged as a file you keep.

Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app

  1. Open Pulse and sign in.
  2. Tap the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone.
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete account.

Your data is removed straight away and you are signed out. If your sign-in itself cannot be removed automatically — which happens when you have not signed in recently — the app tells you so, and emailing us finishes it off.

Option 2 — request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@pulseclimb.app from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my Pulse account". Include your Pulse username if you remember it.

We use the address you write from to identify the account, which is why the request has to come from it. We will confirm once the account is deleted, within 30 days of the request.

What gets deleted

DataWhat happens
Your profile — username and avatarDeleted
Everything you logged — XP, ranks, daily scores, activities, goals, streaks, notes, weights, race and lift records, calendar historyDeleted
Your onboarding answers and settingsDeleted
Your saved snapshots (automatic backups of your account)Deleted with the account, then rotated out of our systems
Your sign-in (Google, Apple or email and password)Deleted. If it cannot be removed automatically the app tells you, and we remove it on request
Progress photosNever uploaded — these are stored only on your own device and are removed when you delete the account or the app

What may remain, and why

Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your account

Uninstalling Pulse removes it from your device but leaves your account and synced data on our servers, so your progress is still there if you come back. Use one of the two options above to delete the account itself.
